This article describes OnePager’s '''Baselines''' feature.  Illustrations used in this article are from OnePager Pro using data from Microsoft Project but the feature's function, controls, and manual edits apply equally to other OnePager editions that import from data sources like Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet, and Oracle Primavera P6.

For Oracle Primavera P6 user making OnePager charts with the OnePager Bundle application, please keep in mind that only Oracle Primavera P6 '''XML Formatted Export files''' contain '''baseline date fields''' that can be displayed.  Oracle Primavera P6 '''XER Formatted Export files''' contain only two (2) '''baseline date fields''': (1) '''BL Project Start''' and (2) '''BL Project Finish'''.  In  the discussions which follow concerning '''baseline date''' controls, you may select other '''date''' fields to use in places of actual '''baseline date data''' when working with '''XER Formatted Export files'''.

==About Editing Baselines==

'''Baseline property''' displays are driven by the '''baseline start and finish dates imported''' from your '''source plan'''.  Not every task bar/milestone symbol in a '''source plan''' has designated '''baseline start and finish dates'''.  A milestone symbols’ '''start and finish dates''' are usually the same.  When you need to display '''baseline property''' information, it is essential that the associated data be properly represented in your '''source plan''' before the data are '''imported''' to OnePager.

The '''default setting''' is 30 percent (%) and a portion of the chart with '''baselines''' checked '''ON''' looks like this:

OnePager adds these two '''baseline start and finish date fields''' to the dropdown lists related to '''baseline start/finish dates''' as shown in the sample '''Set baseline properties''' form shown below:
