==Introduction to the Endpoints Feature in OnePager==

Illustrations used in this article are from OnePager Pro using data from Microsoft Project but the features, function, controls, and manual edits apply equally to other OnePager editions that import from data sources like Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project for the Web, Smartsheet, Oracle Primavera P6, Planisware Enterprise, Asana, and Wrike.

This article describes OnePager’s '''Endpoints''' feature.  

The '''Endpoints''' feature is a creation of OnePager and is supported in all OnePager editions.  Accordingly, if you need to display '''Endpoints''' in you OnePager charts and your '''source plan''' is other than Microsoft Project, it is necessary for you to create a '''source plan user defined column/field''' wherein you can populate your '''deadline date data'''.  In all cases, OnePager recognizes and '''imports''' these '''source plan user defined columns/fields''' when they are exported from their respective project scheduling applications.  When '''endpoint date data''' are present, the controls discussed in this article apply.

The '''Endpoints''' feature requires that you define in your '''source plan''' up to four (4) columns/fields that serve the purpose of this feature as described in this article.  Accordingly, if you need to display '''Endpoints''' in you OnePager charts, it is necessary for you to create a '''source plan user defined column/field''' so you can populate your '''endpoint dates data'''.  In all cases, OnePager recognizes and imports these '''source plan user defined columns/fields''' when they are exported from their respective project scheduling applications. ==About Editing Endpoints==

There are four (4) '''endpoints''' definable in OnePager for each task bar.  By definition, milestone symbols in OnePager do not have multiple '''endpoints'''. Accordingly, '''endpoints''' for milestone symbols are not supported and there is no '''decoration''' controls for '''endpoints''' in the '''Template Properties''' or '''Chart Properties''' form's '''Milestones''' tab.

For all practical purposes, the four possible '''endpoints''' ('''Endpoint1, Endpoint2, Endpoint3, and Endpoint4''') can be thought of as additional '''deadline dates''' for task bars that can be defined to communicate related '''dates''' associated with the task bar. As an additional thought, you can consider the four '''endpoints''' as task-oriented '''milestones''' as they occupy the same row as their parent task bar. 

The control and the behavior of all four '''endpoints''' are identical to that discussed for '''deadlines'''.
