Upgrading to OnePager Pro Version 7.0 Requires Re-Licensing

New and Trial Users of OnePager Pro Version 7.0

Customers using OnePager Pro Version 7.0 for the first time and those converting from a Trial User to a Licensed User can skip this section and go immediately to: About Your OnePager Pro License

Users Upgrading to OnePager Pro Version 7.0 from Previous OnePager Pro Versions

If you are a user of OnePager Pro versions prior to Version 7.0 you are required to re-key your license by requesting a OnePager Pro Version 7.0 license key from our website. After installing, you will be presented with this screen:

There are two options available for re-keying your OnePager Pro Version 7.0 license: (1) Re-Key Now and (2) Snooze.

Re-Key Now Option

To re-key your OnePager Pro Version 7.0 license on your first launch access to OnePager Pro Version 7.0, follow the instructions in the above form, click the Re-Key Now button to be taken to the OnePager.com website where a OnePager Pro Version 7.0 Replacement Key is provided. Return to the above form and click the Next button which takes you to the OnePager Pro License form shown below:

Follow the instructions in the form and paste the Replacement Key in the License Key: in the above form and click the Close button. When the OnePager Pro license form closes you are ready to use OnePager Pro in the NEW, UPDATE, or OPEN modes. If, however, you close the above form without re-keying you do have access to OnePager Pro Version 7.0 on a fifteen (15) day trial basis as indicated at the bottom of the OnePager Pro Start form shown here:

Snooze Option

If you selected the Snooze option from the OnePager Message form, you are provided with a fifteen (15) day trial license to OnePager Pro Version 7.0. Clicking the Snooze button also takes you to the OnePager Pro Start form. You can continue to use OnePager Pro Version 7.0 with the trial license until the fifteen (15) day trial period expires. Each day during the trial period OnePager Pro Version 7.0 will ask you if you want to Re-Key Now. You have the option to do so by clicking the Re-Key Now button or continue on with the trial license by clicking the Snooze button. Two days before the trial license period ends another OnePager Message appears when OnePager Pro Version 7.0 is launched as shown below:

If you need assistance, please contact the OnePager License Department at Contact Us. With one day remaining in your trial period, launching OnePager Pro Version 7.0 causes this OnePager Message form to appear as shown below:

Although the above form provides instructions on how to revert and save your work should you not choose to upgrade to OnePager Pro Version 7.0, we recommend that you click the Re-Key Now button to continue using OnePager Pro Version 7.0. At this point, the Snooze option is not available. After the fifteen (15) trial period has expired and you attempt to launch OnePager Pro Version 7.0, the OnePager Message form shown below appears:

About Your OnePager Pro License

OnePager is an Add-in to Microsoft Project, which automatically displays the OnePager Icon on the Add-ins tab once OnePager is installed. The Icons on the Microsoft Project tool bar looks like this:

The Get Standard License button accesses the OnePager Express license form which you can use to access your OnePager software license from Chronicle Graphics, Inc. The OnePager Pro license form is shown below:

Request License Key

Clicking the Request License Key button takes you to the Chronicle Graphics' website (Request a License Key) where the installation code and product type are automatically filled in. The OnePager website’s Request a License Key page looks like this:

P70-1 6 1-70-(5)-04292020.png

Enter your name, company, e-mail address, and Order Number. Your installation code is filled in for you along with the Product Name. Your Order Number can be found in the e-mail from which you downloaded the .zip file. Specify your Reason for Request (New or Replacement key), then click the Request Key.

When you receive the email, simply copy (CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the License Key provided in the email into the License key window of the OnePager license form, shown above, and click the Activate License button. If for any reason you are not able to access the Internet from OnePager Pro, follow the instructions above to get to the OnePager License form.

Once there, copy (CTRL+C) the Installation code and paste (CTRL+V) it into an email message with your identifying information, including your Order Number, and send it to Licensing Department. The Licensing Department returns your License Key shortly via email. When this email is received, copy (CTRL+C) the License Key and paste (CTRL+V) the license key received into the License key window of the above OnePager Pro license form. Make sure to completely overlay everything including the braces when pasting (CTRL+V) the License Key provided into this window. To complete the activation, press Activate License.

After your License Key is update, the License sub-tab on the OnePager Pro 7.0 ribbon's File tab looks like this:

Request to Transfer a License to Another Computer or User

It may be necessary from time to time to transfer a OnePager Pro license from a licensed computer to a new computer and/or new OnePager Pro user. If this is needed, please contact the OnePager Licensing Department at this email address: Licensing Department.

Special Situations

Sometimes there are special environments where OnePager's’ automated licensing system cannot be accessed, making it necessary to manually copy the Installation Code into an email. In these situations it is often easy to confuse certain characters (e.g. the letter l and the number 1), resulting in an invalid Installation Code. To help mitigate this, we added a checkbox titled Use colors on look-alike characters. Checking this checkbox alters the appearance of the Installation Code as shown below:

P70-1 6 1-70-(7)-07012019.png

As shown above, there is a legend next to the checkbox that helps you make sure you have the right characters when you are in this situation. When, despite the color coding, you email us an Installation Code that is invalid, we can use fuzzy logic processing to check for similar codes differing only by these look-alike characters. If we find a valid Installation Code, we email you the resulting License Key. Otherwise, we notify you that your Installation Code is invalid for other reasons and help you resolve the issue. As an added support measure, we upgraded to our licensing system to support computers that have the FIPS algorithm policy enabled.

OnePager Pro Desktop Application

The OnePager Pro (OPP) Desktop application uses the same methodology to activate a valid Installation Code as does the Add-in application.
