Other Changes for OnePager 7.0

2) In the process of producing OnePager 7.0 we responded to our customers by making other changes that involve our terminology usage.

a) We changed the terminology that we used to refer to our principle graphic output from project view to chart. This was done since the great majority of our customers use OnePager to produce what they call charts and rarely us the term project view when referencing the products of OnePager in their normal schedule conversations. In this document (Wiki) the word chart replaces the term project view.
b) To be consistent with the change to the word chart, we changed the name of the Project-View Properties (PVP) form to Chart Properties form.
c) Finally, under this terminology change, the Project View Editor (PVE) becomes the Chart Editor everywhere in this Wiki document.

The subsections below provide an overview and links to more detailed descriptions of these new capabilities and enhancements:

User Interface Upgrade

In previous OnePager versions, you could only manually insert Event Links between tasks/milestones, a sometimes tedious effort.

With OnePager 7.0, you can directly import predecessor information from Microsoft Project or Microsoft Excel source plans and show them as Data-driven Task Links.

In OnePager Pro and Express 7.0 you can:

1) Import predecessor information from your source plans.

2) Manipulate these Data-driven Task Link representations in your project views.

3) Use new controls to show or hide Task Links in the project view using manual editing controls and the new Task Link Filter rules capability.

4) Use enhanced graphics to alter Task Link connection line colors, arrow head shapes, and connection line styles.

5) Manually create and edit Task Links in the project view as you did with Event Links.
