Manual Versus No-Touch Installation of OnePager

There are two installation processes: manual (double-click on setup.exe in the download package) and script-driven (no touch) installation. Both processes support both per-user and per-machine modes though no-touch installation generally makes sense only for per-machine installation.

Installation on a per-user basis typically means that OnePager is installed by the end user, which often requires special privileges. Installation on the no touch (per-machine) basis allows IT staff to “push out” an installation (and even license keys) from a centralized server without needing to give special privileges to end users.

The manual installation is described below. For instructions on installing on the no touch (per-machine) basis, which is typically accomplished by IT staff, consult the “Read Me” file which is provided with the OnePager download package.
