Overview

Smartsheet is very flexible when it comes to its column definitions. OnePager requires only that you prepare your Smartsheet source plan with at least three required fields before importing it to OnePager. These required fields serve the function for Task Name, a task Start Date and a task Finish Date. OnePager scans the fields that are imported from Smartsheet and attempts to find fields that are reasonably close to the three fields mentioned earlier. OnePager then posts then on page 2 of the OnePager choices form where you have an opportunity to confirm or change the mapping.

Additionally, if you are creating a chart where you want to display constraints between tasks, we advise that you add and populate a Smartsheet column called Predecessor. OnePager's imported column analysis process is very good at finding and properly categorizing your user defined fields.

After analyzing and categorizing the column headings, OnePager uses this information to create virtual fields that you can use in creating and organizing your chart. The table below shows (1) the OnePager required fields, (2) imported fields, and (3) OnePager virtual fields.
