When working with Microsoft Project or Excel, OnePager can either be launched as an '''Add-in''', or can be launched outside of Project or Excel using a '''Standalone Desktop Icon'''.

OnePager Pro and Express can be accessed through the '''Add-in''' capability wherein the products are accessed after Microsoft Project or Microsoft Excel are launched respectively.  The capability exists to launch OnePager Pro and Express independent of Microsoft's products using the '''Icons''' provided for OnePager Pro and Express '''Desktop'''.  Since there are some differences between the operation of OnePager Pro/Express '''Add-in''' and '''Desktop''', where there are '''significant differences''' between '''Add-in''' and '''Desktop''' for '''OPP''' and '''OPX''', we've included product-specific documentation, again, to avoid confusion.

When working with Smartsheet or Primavera P6, OnePager will always be launched using the '''Standalone Desktop Icon''', since neither of these platforms support '''Add-ins'''' in the traditional sense.

Once launched, OnePager will function in a very similar fashion, regardless of whether it was initially launched as an '''Add-in''' or '''Standalone'''. However, in cases where differences between the two launch methods do exist, we have included specific documentation of those differences.

OnePager Pro, Bundle, and Express Editions

There are three editions of OnePager:

  • OnePager Bundle (OPB): Imports from Smartsheet, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Project Online, Project Server, and Excel
  • OnePager Pro (OPP): Imports from Microsoft Project, Project Online, and Project Server
  • OnePager Express (OPX): Imports from Excel, and through Excel can access data stored in other formats or platforms.

There are some differences between the three editions with respect to:

  • Installing, Activating, and Deactivating
  • Importing data from different project management tools
  • Getting Started
  • Multi-Project reporting
  • Critical path reporting

As a convenience, where there are significant differences between the different editions, we’ve included edition-specific documentation to avoid confusion.

OnePager Add-in vs. Standalone (aka: Desktop) Products

When working with Microsoft Project or Excel, OnePager can either be launched as an Add-in, or can be launched outside of Project or Excel using a Standalone Desktop Icon.

When working with Smartsheet or Primavera P6, OnePager will always be launched using the Standalone Desktop Icon, since neither of these platforms support Add-ins' in the traditional sense.

Once launched, OnePager will function in a very similar fashion, regardless of whether it was initially launched as an Add-in or Standalone. However, in cases where differences between the two launch methods do exist, we have included specific documentation of those differences.
