Installation of OnePager Express (OPX) for version 7.0 remains the same as previous versions.  The process is repeated there for your convenience.  We smartened up our Installer and are offering you two installation options to launch OPX as an Add-in to Microsoft Excel and a new option to launch OPX directly from a desktop icon. For more information please see the article at: Getting Started with OnePager Express Desktop <!-- 3.0.2.2-70 -->

Users Upgrading to OnePager Pro Version 7.0 from Previous OnePager Pro Versions
+
The OPX installer comes in two varieties:

If you are a user of OnePager Pro versions prior to Version 7.0 you are required to re-key your license by requesting a OnePager Pro Version 7.0 license key from our website. After installing, you will be presented with this screen:
+
1) an .EXE file for individuals to install on their desktop and

+
2) a .ZIP file for IT professionals that are installing OPX into a managed network environment.
<!--<center>P70-1_6_1-70-(0A)-08312020.png</center>-->
+

There are two options available for re-keying your OnePager Pro Version 7.0 license:  (1) Re-Key Now and (2) Snooze.
+
The .EXE smart installer figures out the bitness of your computer (i.e., 32-bits or 64-bits) and installs the correct bitness to match your computer automatically. The .ZIP file for IT professions and contains all installation instructions in the .ZIP file’s README.rtf file.  No further discussion on IT professional installations is provided here.

Re-Key Now Option
+
Both installers provide you with the options to install both the OPX Add-in and desktop icon launch options or to just install the OPX desktop icon launch option only.  Regardless of which of these two options is selected, your computer still requires that Microsoft Excel be installed and available.

To re-key your OnePager Pro Version 7.0 license on your first launch access to OnePager Pro Version 7.0, follow the instructions in the above form, click the Re-Key Now button to be taken to the OnePager.com website where a OnePager Pro Version 7.0 Replacement Key is provided. Return to the above form and click the Next button which takes you to the OnePager Pro License form shown below:

OPX version 7.0 requires that the users have installed Microsoft .NET version 4.5 Full or later on their computer.  If the .NET 4.5 or later Framework is not installed on your computer, download it for free from Microsoft. OnePager displays both the required Microsoft .NET version and the Microsoft .NET version installed at the About tab on the ribbon’s File tab as shown below:
<!--<center>P70-1_6_1-70-(0B)-08312020.png</center>-->

Follow the instructions in the form and paste the Replacement Key in the License Key: in the above form and click the Close button. When the OnePager Pro license form closes you are ready to use OnePager Pro in the NEW, UPDATE, or OPEN modes. If, however, you close the above form without re-keying you do have access to OnePager Pro Version 7.0 on a fifteen (15) day trial basis as indicated at the bottom of the OnePager Pro Start form shown here:

It is recommended that you use the Re-Key Now option button and complete the Replacement Key process.  However, you can still use OnePager Pro Version 7.0 throughout the day by clicking the Snooze button on the form.  On the last day of the trial period, launching OnePager Pro Version 7.0 causes this final OnePager Message form to appear as shown here:
+
Then, click the I Agree button, and the Next&gt; button as shown below:

<!--<center>X70-2_0_1-70-(3)-07022019.png</center>-->

The intent of this message is to advise you that this is the last day of the fifteen (15) day trial period and that OnePager Pro Version 7.0 will be locked and unavailable for you to use if you do not obtain a OnePager Pro Version 7.0 Replacement Key before the end of the day. If, however, you click the Next button the above form without re-keying you do have access to OnePager Pro Version 7.0 for one (1) more day as indicated at the bottom of the OnePager Pro Start form shown here:
+
After clicking the Next&gt; button on the form above, the OPX installer accesses the Installation Options form shown below:

<center></center>
+
<center></center>

+
<!--<center>X70-2_0_1-70-(4)-07022019.png</center>-->

Although the above form provides instructions on how to revert and save your work should you not choose to upgrade to OnePager Pro Version 7.0, we recommend that you click the Re-Key Now button to continue using OnePager Pro Version 7.0. At this point, the Snooze option is not available. After the fifteen (15) trial period has expired and you attempt to launch OnePager Pro Version 7.0, the OnePager Message form shown below appears:
+
Everyone or Just Me Selection Options
<center></center>
+
At this point you can either accept the default options or change the selections as required. The first set of options allows you to install OPX for every user account or only for the user account performing the installation.
<!--<center>P70-1_6_1-70-(0F)-08312020</center>
+

The form above notifies you that OnePager Pro Version 7.0 is not available for you to use. You may click the Re-Key Now button to obtain your Replacement Key as described above or you can  uninstall OnePager Pro Version 7.0 and install the version of OnePager Pro you purchased. When you complete the re-keying  process you do have access to OnePager Pro Version 7.0 as indicated at the bottom of the OnePager Pro Start form shown here:
+
Add-in And Desktop Application Selection Options
<center></center>
+
The second set of options, both of which require the presence of Microsoft Excel on your computer, allows you to install both the Add-in and desktop applications and their icons for OPX or just the desktop application and its icon. Selecting the Launch from my desktop or from Microsoft Excel option inserts OPX as a Microsoft Excel Add-in and place a OPX desktop icon on your desktop. Please note that after selecting this launch option that you only are able to launch either OPX Add-in or OPX desktop. Only one of these applications can be active at a time.
<!--<center>P70-1_6_1-70-(0FA)-08312020.png</center>-->

Special Situations
+
Temporarily Disabling and Re-enabling OnePager Express
Sometimes there are special environments where OnePager's’ automated licensing system cannot be accessed, making it necessary to manually copy the Installation Code into an email.  In these situations it is often easy to confuse certain characters (e.g. the letter l and the number 1), resulting in an invalid Installation Code. To help mitigate this, we added a checkbox titled Use colors on look-alike characters.  Checking this checkbox alters the appearance of the Installation Code as shown below:
+
OnePager Express can be temporarily disabled as an add-in to Microsoft Excel and later re-enabled as an add-in to Microsoft Excel to resume its role. Instructions for temporarily disabling and re-enabling OnePager Express for Microsoft Excel are found in this article: Temporarily Disabling and Re-enabling OnePager Express <!--2.5.1-70-->

<center></center>
+
Uninstalling OnePager Express
<!--<center>P70-1_6_1-70-(7)-07012019.png</center>-->
+

As shown above, there is a legend next to the checkbox that helps you make sure you have the right characters when you are in this situation. When, despite the color coding, you email us an Installation Code that is invalid, we can use fuzzy logic processing to check for similar codes differing only by these look-alike characters. If we find a valid Installation Code, we email you the resulting License Key.  Otherwise, we notify you that your Installation Code is invalid for other reasons and help you resolve the issue. As an added support measure, we upgraded to our licensing system to support computers that have the FIPS algorithm policy enabled.
+
If you find it necessary to uninstall OnePager Express, please see this article for instructions: Uninstalling OnePager Express <!--2.4.1-70-->

Installing OnePager Express Version 7.0

Installation of OnePager Express (OPX) for version 7.0 remains the same as previous versions. The process is repeated there for your convenience. We smartened up our Installer and are offering you two installation options to launch OPX as an Add-in to Microsoft Excel and a new option to launch OPX directly from a desktop icon. For more information please see the article at: Getting Started with OnePager Express Desktop

Smart Installer

The OPX installer comes in two varieties:

1) an .EXE file for individuals to install on their desktop and

2) a .ZIP file for IT professionals that are installing OPX into a managed network environment.

Both installers provide you with the options to install both the OPX Add-in and desktop icon launch options or to just install the OPX desktop icon launch option only. Regardless of which of these two options is selected, your computer still requires that Microsoft Excel be installed and available.

Microsoft .Net Version Requirements to Run OnePager

OPX version 7.0 requires that the users have installed Microsoft .NET version 4.5 Full or later on their computer. If the .NET 4.5 or later Framework is not installed on your computer, download it for free from Microsoft. OnePager displays both the required Microsoft .NET version and the Microsoft .NET version installed at the About tab on the ribbon’s File tab as shown below:

X70-2 0 2-70-(1-2)-09082020.png

OnePager Express Installation Process

To install OPX version 7.0 locate the .EXE file from the download and double-click on the file name. The following form may appear:

X61-1 0 1-61-(9)-12042018.png

When you click the Setup button the installer begins the installation process and the form below appears:

X70-2 0 1-70-(2)-07022019.png

Clicking the Next> button accesses the License Agreement form which you should read.

Then, click the I Agree button, and the Next> button as shown below:

X70-2 0 1-70-(3)-07022019.png

After clicking the Next> button on the form above, the OPX installer accesses the Installation Options form shown below:

X70-2 0 1-70-(4)-07022019.png

Everyone or Just Me Selection Options

At this point you can either accept the default options or change the selections as required. The first set of options allows you to install OPX for every user account or only for the user account performing the installation.

Add-in And Desktop Application Selection Options

The second set of options, both of which require the presence of Microsoft Excel on your computer, allows you to install both the Add-in and desktop applications and their icons for OPX or just the desktop application and its icon. Selecting the Launch from my desktop or from Microsoft Excel option inserts OPX as a Microsoft Excel Add-in and place a OPX desktop icon on your desktop.
