Conditional Formatting (Portal)
This feature allows you to establish a set of rules that will alter the look of the OnePager chart as the data in your Microsoft Project plan change through the course of your project. It goes beyond the dynamic color-coding feature described earlier in this document. The following elements can be defined by using conditional formatting rules:
- Shape (task or milestone)
- Color
- Height
- Border
- Label Font
You can define these rules in either before or after you create new project view. To create rules before you create a project view, use the “Template Properties” form. To create (or modify) rules after you create a project view, use the “Project-View Properties” form. The former will give you access to all the columns in Microsoft Project whereas the latter will give you access to up to eight (8) plus the “Color” column from the columns that you decided to import when you first created the project view.
